A Banda britânica voltou, desta feita com um tema que serve de homenagem aos Jogos olímpicos de Londres 2012. O novo album, "the 2nd law" deve saír algures em Setembro deste ano!

Para além de Cantora, Cyndi Lauper é Atriz, produtora Cinematográfica, Directora de Cinema e Roteirista.

"Time after time" é o segundo single do album "She's so usual" e chegou a numero 1 na Billboard hot 100.

Na mesma altura do lançamento deste Single, decorria o Euro-84,  em que nas meias-finais, Portugal acabaria por perder com a França 3-2.

Nesse mesmo ano estrearam filmes como Footlose com Herbert Ross e em Portugal a crónica dos bons Malandros com Niculau Breyner, Fernando Lopes e Lia Gama
